ALLIED INQUIRY
REMOVAL BY RUSSIANS GERMAN COURT OFFICIALS FOUR MEN DISAPPEAR LONDON. March 3. A four-Power Allied commission is investigating the disappearance of two German judges and a high German judicial official, and Marshal Zhukov is personally investigating the disappearance of a third judge, says the Associated Press correspondent in Berlin. The Russians whisked away a judge serving and living in the American zone, a judge serving in .the American and living in .the British zone, and a judge serving and living in the Russian zone, and a court official serving in the American and living in .the Russian zone.
It is understood that the British and Americans after failing to obtain a satisfactory explanation, insisted on a meeting of the Allied Control Council to ascertain wnere the four had been taken and the charges against them, and also why Hip Russian police or German police acting under Russian orders, invaded the British and American zones.
Marshal Zhukov agreed to the appointment of a commission but stipulated that he himself would investigate the case of the judge serving in the Russian zone.
