EMPHATIC PROTEST
TANGANYIKA’S STATUS TRUSTEESHIP QUESTION (9 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 13. Delegates from all parts of Tanganyika have protested against the decision of the British Government to place the territory under United Nations trusteeship, says Reuter’s correspondent in Nairobi. The resolution stated: “It is essential for the welfare of all communities, future peace and the progress of the territory that Tanganyika should be declared a British colony forthwith and become an integral part of the British Empire.”
