NEW U.K. COMMANDER SIR SHOLTO DOUGLAS
(9 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 13. Marshal of the R.A.F., Sir Sholto Douglas, has been appointed comman-der-in-chief of the British forces in Germany, military governor of the
British zone, and British member ot the Allied Control Council in succession to Field Marshal Lord Montgomery, who has been appointed chief of the Imperial General Staff.
