HOMEWOOD DISTRICT FIRES (P.A.) MASTERTON, Feb. 14. A serious grass and bush fire is raging in the Homewood district. 40 miles from Masterton, having been freshened up by the wind. The fire spread rapidly yesterday afternoon and seriously threatened Mr. T. Taylor's homestead at Beaumaris, the furniture being removed as the house was in danger.
