FAR EAST CONTROL
EMPIRE REPRESENTATIVE (9 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 11. It was expected that the first meeting of the Far Eastern Commission would be held soon after the members returned from Washington this month, Mr. Hector McNeil, Foreign Affairs Under-Secretary, said in the House of Commons. The Foreign Secretary hoped soon to be in a position to announce the appointment of a member to represent Britain. India, Australia and New Zealand on the Allied Council in Japan.
