BODY AMONG ROCKS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. The body of a newly-born baby girl was found among the rocks at Talena Bay on Saturday. A post-mortem showed that the child had breathed and had been dead about a fortnight.
The body was wrapped in a sheet and towels and apparently an attempt had been made to burn it by soaking the coverings with petrol or kerosene. Tire police are Inquiring whether anyone saw a fire among the rocks.
