ARGENTINE PAPERS U.S. EMBASSY CHARGE (10 a.m.) BUENOS AIRES, Jan. 18. The United States Embassy has released to the press photostatic copies of secret telegrams sent from the German Embassy here to the German Foreign Office prior to the revolution in June 1943, disclosing that certain ..rgentine newspapers were subsidised German propaganda organs, The American Embassy statement said that one reason that relations between Argentina and the Llnited States at present not being cordial was because the Argentine Government was supplying newsprint to the successors of subsidised organs, including the Epoca, Tribuna and Democraticia, the leading supporters of Colonel Peron’s candidacy for the Presidency. The newspapers identified by the Embassy as subsidised include the defunct Pampero Cabildo and Ahora and also tile Catholic newspaper Pueblo*
