BUSINESS TRIP

LORD GLENCONNER CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES TO MEET MINISTERS (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 19. A member of the London board of directors of Imperial Chemical Industries Limited, Lord Glenconner, is expected to arrive at Auckland by flyingboat from Sydney to-day. Lord Glenconner, who is also London director ot the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand Limited, is to spend more than three weeks in ?,'ew Zealand, chiefly on business connected with these companies. Lord Glenconner left England in a Lancastrian aircraft on January 1 and arrived in Sydney on January 5. He has spent part of his time investigating tiie projected developments of Imperial Chemical Industries in Australia and will be similarly engaged in New Zealand, leaving Auckland by air for Dunedin on Monday. He will spend a fortnight in the South Island. He is to arrive on Febuary 2 at Wellington, where arrangements have been made for him to meet the acting Prime Minsister, Mr. Nash, and the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Mr. D. G. Sullivan. Lord Glenconner is a keen fisherman and hopes to spend a short time at Taupo and Rotorua before he leaves Auckland for Australia on February 13
