CAIRO THE ONLY STOP
(11:30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Jan. 17. The Lancaster Aries landed at Capetown at 12.19 p.m. G.M.T., breaking the England to the Cape record. The flight took 32 hours 21 minutes, which was 74 minutes better than the previous record. The Aries landed only once between England and the Cape, when it refuelled at Cairo.
