FLOOD PROTECTION
PATUTAHI-RERE ROAD
Flood protection work is to proceed at the Mangatoetoe Stream, on the Patutahi-Rere main highway. The Works Department in ' a letter received by ihe Cook County Council at its meeting to-day stated that the Main Highways Board had approved a contribution of £IOO and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council a similar sum.
The department asked the council to call tenders for the work and to make its recommendation. The council decided to call tenders as suggested.
