HARMONIOUS SPIRIT
WORK OF COUNCIL “In extending to the councillors best wishes for Christmas and New Year, I wish to sincerely thank you all for the co-operation you have shown,” stated the Mayor, Mr. N. H. Bull, at last night’s meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council—the final for the year. “A spirit of harmony has reigned throughout the whole year and I trust and feel sure that those conditions will continue in the new year.” He likewise expressed appreciation of the staff’s work and extended them season’s greetings. The Deputy Mayor, Mr. H. H. De Costa, replied for the council, and the town clerk, Mr. W. M. Jenkins, for the staff.
