(9 a.m.) ATHENS, Dec. 17. The Greek Cabinet has reached an agreement on the final text of the amnesty after a late night meeting, reports the Associated Press correspondent in Athens. The Prime Minister. M. Sofoulis, said after the meeting that the Prison Decongestion Bill had been initialled The law would benefit the perpetrators of offences between April 27, 1941, and February 12. 1945. Those guilty of murder and other crimes for which provision was made in the law would be excluded from the amnesty. Special clauses provided for speeding formalities to deteimine those who were entitled to a pardon so that they might be released from gaol as soon as possible and also to enable the cessation of prosecutions against those who were charged with offences coming within the provisions of the new law.
