CHILD FOUND DEAD
HEAD IN COPPER OF WATER (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Oct. 25. Mervyn John Lilley, aged four years seven months, was found dead with his head in a copper full of water at his home, 15 Dennitt street. North New Brighton, at about 11.40 o’clock yesterday morning. An inquest was opened before the coroner, Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., and adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given.
