COLBERT WINS CUP

TOKOMARU BAY GUN CLUB A shoot was held by the Tokomnru Bay Cun Club at Tokomaru Bay at the week-end when the ’’Cheiio” Cup was shot for, for the third time and Don Colbert, Te Puia, was the winner. Conditions were difficult owing to the strong wind. Good shooting was also done by Ivan Craill, who shared the stakes in four mutches lie shot in. Scores: Match No. 1, nix-bird handicap.—l. Craill. 12yds., and W. Oates, 18yds., shot possibles and divided first and second money. (!.. V. Dewes and R. Craill shot five each and divided third money. Match No. 2, "Chcno” Cup, 13-bird handicap Don Colbert, 12yds., broke 12 birds and won the cup and took a share of tile stakes in each section of five birds, shooting four in each. Cl. Smyth, 12yds., I. Craill, 12yds., and W. Oates, 18yds., each shot 11 birds. Carl Oates and R. Craill, 9 each. Colbert, G. Smyth and W. Oates divided the stakes in the first section. W. Oates, with five, took first money in tho second section and D. Colbert and I, Craill shared second and third in the third section, and D. Colbert, R. Craill and G. Smyth shared second and third money. Match No. 3, 10-bird handicap.—l. Craill broke nine birds, D. Colbert, G. V. Dowes, and W. Oates, eight, each, Churches, 11. P. Smyth, and It. Craill seven each. Stakes were divided in the first section by D. Colbert, G. V. Dewes and I. Craill each with five breaks. R. Craill allot five for first money in the second section and G. Smyth, I. Craill and W. Oates eacli with four, divided second and third money. Match No. ■!, 10-bird handicap.—l. Craill. 11. F. Smyth. R. Craill and W. Oates, each witii four breaks, divided the stakes in the first section. I. Craill and H. F. Smyth, with five, divided first and second money in the second section, while D. Colbert, F. A. Page, R.
