GERMANY'S MISTAKE
JET PLANES NOT RUSHED (11 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 21. Declaring that Germany made the mistake of not concentrating on the production of hundreds of jet fighters, General H. H. Arnold, Chief of the United States Army Air Force, said it was reported that one Luftwaffe jet Dilot had shot down between 17 and 20 Fortresses in one engagement.
