JEWELLER ASSAULTED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 24. A Wellington watchmaker and jeweller, Mr. H. M. Rosenberg, was assaulted at about 7 o’clock last night as he entered the door of his premises in Manners street. He was knocked unconscious and did not recover until some hours later. He is in hospital suffering from head injuries, shock, and loss of blood, but his condition is not regarded as serious.
