BRITISH INFLUENCE E.A.M. DISSATISFACTION (9 a.m.) ATHENS, Aug. 24. The E.A.M. Central Committee has decided to send a delegation to London to acquaint the British Government of its appraisal of the situation in Greece. The E.A.M., in a statement, said that Mr. Bevin’s reference to Greece had not satisfied the majority of the Greek people. Mr. Bevin’s declarations had aggravated an untenable situation. “We believe that if the British political and military authorites so desired, the position could be immediately improved,” added the E.A.M statement.
