POST-WAR AID TO BRITAIN SETTLEMENT OF DEBTS GO a.m.) WASHINGTON. June 29 British-Ameriean talks have beereported on the settlement of British debts and additional monetary aid to Britain in return for a modification of the existing British trade restrictions, says the Associated Press The Senate Banking Committee i; holding a secret session to-day to hear Treasury views on the proposals to extend to Britain post-war grants or credits amounting to between 3,000,000 000 and 5,000,000,000 dollars. Mr. J. H. Williams. Vice-President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, lias proposed a 3,000,000,000 dollar grant to Britain.
