FILIPINO PRESIDENT REFUGE IN~THE HILLS (11 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 9. Mrs. Osmena, wife of the Philippines President, and three children have reached safety in the American lines. Mrs. Osmena and 10 of the President’s 11 children remained in the Philippines when the Japanese captured the island. They presumably hid in the hills until the American advance. The eleventh child is in the United States. The whereabouts of the seven others is undisclosed.
