N.Z. RUGBY TEAM (M n.m.i LONDON, Jan. .. The New Zealand Services Rugby team defeated Sutton Rugby Football Club by 45 points to nil. The New Zealanders gave a brilliant display of open, dashing combined football. The scoring opened with a dropped goal by H. O. Stewart, after which tries came at regular intervals until the score at half-time stood at one goal, one dropped goal and four tries. J. Elmers, Stewart am! .1. H. MacDonald (two) were scorers, with one try converted. 'Hie second half was even more one-sided. R. A. Roper (.3), G. Sellars, Eric Grant and A. W. Wordlcy all gov tries, three of which were converted.
