Former Gisborneite Safe
Advice lias been received by Mrs. W. Mackenzie, Konini streel, Hastings, that her brother. Sergeant A. 1!. Deal. M.M., is safe. Sergeant Deal, who was formerly of Gisborne, had been serving with the Middle Fast. Forces for four and a half years and his sister had not heard from him for more than three years. He is at present spending six weeks furlough with relatives in Sydney and Melbourne before returning to Now Zealand.
