CALL-UP OF 1,500,000 MATERIALTrOM ALLIES (Noon) PARIS, Jan. 7. The six classes involved in the now call-up lor the armed forces will total 1,500.000 men, says the British United Press correspondent in Paris. He said the six classes would be inducted into the forces as soon as possible, beginning with the 1943 class this month. The new divisions will be equipped with heavy modern material supplied by the Al lies. PARIS RADIO APPEAL (9 a.m.) LONDON, -lan. 5. The Paris radio to-night appealed for volunteers to fight in the Far East. “French forces will participate in the Far Eastern campaign and the liberation of Indo China,” stated the appeal. -Wo want officers, n.c.o's and all ranks at present on the reserve list, besides young men eager to serve. After victory they will have a chance of getting jobs in French East Asia."
