PRETTY WEDDING

WALLACE—OVENDEN Blue hydrangeas formed a picturesque setting at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday, December 80, for the marriage of Shirley Barbara, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. r. Eon Ovonden. Tnruheru, and Robert Andrew, second son of Mr. and Mrs. (I. S. Wallace, Hansen road. The ceremony was performed by Canon A. F. Hall, and Miss M. Kemp was at x!i•• organ. Escorted by her father, the bride looked charming in a frock of magnolia satin. A r halo of real cream flowers held in place her veil of embroidered tulle, which was worn over the face on entering the church. An exquisite trailing bouquet of cream carnations. dahlias, roses and miniature arumlilies intermingled with adiantum and asparagus fern, was carried. A picture frock of pale pink chiffon mounted on matching taffetas was worn by the bridesmaid, Miss Valerie Margaret Wallace,* sister of the bridegroom. A halo ol delicately-tinted Argentine, pea made an attractive headdress, and her trailing bouquet was composed of carnations, roses, dahlias and Argentine pea. in cyclamen xoningß. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. A. M. Wallace. A delightful reception was held at the Bon Accord Lounge. Mrs. Ovenden, mother of the bride, was wearing a frock of navy blue Swiss brodetie Angluise and a hat ol matching straw. A suit of navy blue flat crepe and a ha! io match were the choice of Mrs. Wallace, coot her of the bridegroom. The future, home of the bride and bride groom will be at Whatatutu.
