Wairoa Men For Sentence
Four young Maori men. facing charges of unlawful carnal knowledge. admitted the offences and were committed for sentence at the Supreme Court in Wellington when they appeared before Messrs. T. le C. Powdrell and J. Morris. J.P.s. in the Wairoa Police Court on Thursday. The accused were John Derek Clark, aged go. Pakitua Whatuira, aged 25. ICingi w’aipntu Winitana, aged 17, and Andrew Bren James Winitana, aged 20. Another accused, charged with a similar offence, was remanded to appear at the next sitting of the Children’s Court in Wairoa. Sergeant W. R. Miller prosecuted.
