BANGKOK BOMBED
"SUPER-FORTS” ATTACK (11 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 4.
Super-Fortresses from BrigadierGeneral Lemay’s command attacked Japanese communications and facilities in the Bangkok area in Thailand in daylight on Tuesday, says a 20th Air Force communique. The weather was clear over the target and unobserved to excellent bombing results are reported. Fighter opposition was weak and the "fiak” meagre and inaccurate. All the planes returned without damage.
