FRENCH ARMY
WELL-EQUIPPED FORCE (9 a.m.) PARIS, Jan. 4. France would have a well-equipped army of more than 650,000 picked men in a few months, stated M. Diethelm, War Minister. France is concentrating on building a comparatively small, mobile, hardhitting force. Native troops and other volunteers would form the Far-East expeditionary force.
