MULHOUSE UNDER FIRE
CHILDREN EVACUATED
MOVE TO SWITZERLAND (10 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 4. The Allied authorities have decided to evacuate children in Mulhouse to Switzerland. Between 10,000 and 20,000 will be moved at the rate of 1000 daily. The reason is that the Germans are consistently bombarding Mulhouse, which the French liberated on November 22. The city is suffering heavy damage, but the French repulsed all German efforts to penetrate it.
