HAY FROM DOMINION
N.S.W. PLANS IMPORTS EASING FODDER NEEDS HO a.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 4. The New South Wales Government plans to import pasture hay from New Zealand to relieve the acute fodder shortage. An officer of the Department of Agriculture is now in New Zealand. No orders have yet been placed pending the officer's reports on the cleanliness of the hay and its freedom from disease. It is stated in Sydney that the State's fodder position is serious and that reserve stocks have been nearly expended.
