OBVIATING DISPUTES CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES WASHINGTON. Jan. 2. ’['lie British Ambassador. Lord Halifax, and the Secretary of State, Mr. E. Stettin ins, met to-dav. Lord Halifax indicated that they discussed the means of averting future misunderstandings among the Allies by a closer exchange of information on controversial problems before they had fully developed.
