The beef market showed an easing tendency for the iirst sale of the year. and passings were irvipioni. Two-tooth black-faces met with a Keen demand to sell from 22s 10(1 to 25s -id. Ewes, heavy, made from J9s Id to 21s Id. and plain down to 15s. Maiden ewes sold from 22s lOd to 24s Id. 'l’liere was a good offering of lambs, the tops selling from 26s J d to 29s I<l, and others from 20s to 25s Id.
