Regent.—The Regent’s new attraction, “Always In My Heart," which commences to-day, bids fair to go down in screen history, not only as a thoroughly delightful picture of family life, but also as the picture which introduced Gloria Warren to the film public, for 15-year-old Miss Warren has a delightful singing voice. "Always In My Heart” is a story of family loyalty, and more heart-gladdening, screen entertainment would be hard to find. Kay Francis and Walter Huston head the cast with Gloria Warren. Majestic.—To-day's attraction, "Miss V. From Moscow, is an exciting story of a beautiful Russian spy who matches wits with the Gestapo in occupied France. The leading players are Lola Lane and Noel Maddinoti. The associate feature, "Man of Courage,’’ is a thrilling drama starring Barton Mac Lane and Charlotte Wyntcrs. Chapter -1 of "Great Northern Mystery” also will be shown. King’s.—2oth Century-Fox have chosen a brilliant company of players to bring Brandon Thomas’ immortal comedy “Charley's Aunt" to the screen. Jack Benny, of radio and screen fame, has the loading role and is ably supported by such favourites as Kay Francis, Laird Crcgar, Reginald Owen and Anne Baxter. This excellent comedy, which will bring laughter and joy to young and old alike, commences at the King’s Theatre today. Uorovansky Ballet.— To-night at the Opera House the Bornvansky Ballet will open for a brief season. The programme will commence with one of the best known classics, "Lc-S Sylphides," a ballet originally conceived by Fokirie, and later, under DiaghilefT, becoming the suite of dances that we know to-day. To-night’s presentation of this famous Ballet Blanc is arranged by Laurel Mariya. Miss Murt.vn. who danced for some years with the Vlc-Wells Ballet in London, Dorothy Stephenson who was a member of Colonel do Basil’s Russian Ballet, and Edna Russo are the leading ballerinas. Edouard Uorovansky makes a personal appearance, on each programme. To-night. to-morrow night- (and a Saturday matinee), and Monday will complete the season ill Gisborne.
