DISABLED SERVICEMEN PROTEST BRINGS RESULTS (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 2. Following a protest by trainees and employees at the Disabled Servicemen’s Re-establishment League’s factory in Newton, it is understood that urgent instructions were received yesterday morning by the Works Department to the effect that the Royal New Zealand Air Force establishment at Parnell be vacated with all possible speed and the necessary alterations to the building to accommodate disabled ex-servicemen be commenced forthwith. The men returned to work in the dilapidated ■factory yesterday.
