EDUCATION IN N.2. FELLOWSHIPS DECISION i P.A.» CHRISTCHURCH. Oct. 31. Because ii regards liio coining year as the “most significant for education," the New Zealand section of the New Education Fellowship decided at its annual meeting in Christchurch yesterday Hint its headquarters should lie in Wellington to permit the closest liaison on new developments and to afford better opportunities for discussing problems directly with the authorities. It was emphasised that the move to Wellington should not he regarded as a step in centralisation but as a temporary measure for expediency. although it was stated that the Dominion executive’s main task was co-ordination of branch activities and the reception artel exchange of information on education from other sections of the international movement.

It was agreed that the New Zealand section should take steps by more publication to give a better understanding of education to-day and to answer criticism and inquiries such as had been left unanswered during the last year.
