TOULOUSE'S PROTEST

BAN ON ARMED GROUPS FRENCH LAW RESENTED (10 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 30. A demonstration occurred at Toulouse on Sunday against the French Government’s decree outlawing the remaining armed groups in France, says the Toulouse Radio. The local commandant of the "patriotic militia" said that the men and women who originally spontaneously answered General De Gaulle’s call had a slightly bitter feeling that there was a tendency .to minimise the Patriots’ contribution. General De Gaulle issued a communique re-affirming the necessity of dissolving independent armed bodies and called for the "patriotic militia’s” arms to be handed over to the French armies fighting at the front “who sorely need them.”
