CHINESE IN BURMA ENEMY WITHDRAWALS (10.30 a.m.) KANDY, Oct. 3; Chinese patrols moving south along the Myitkyma-Bhamo road yesterday engaged tne enemy in a minor skirmish north of Myuthit, states a Southeast Asia communique. The Japanese withdrew and the Chinese occupied Myuthit, which is 24 miles north oi Bhamo. Fifty miles south of Tiddim the Japanese garrisons withdrawing irom the Falam and Haka area were engaged and a number were killed.
