MR. WENDELL WILLKIE NEW YORK, April 9. The leader of the'Republican Parly, Mr. Wendell Willkie, will accept Ihe Australian - American Co - operation Movement to visit Australia if the State Department permits. Mr. Willkie said he would gladly go to Australia if he can be helpfnl and tin* Government consents. “It is important for the future welfare of our country that close relationship he cemented between the peoples of the two countries,” he said. “I will suggest to the Australians who have invited me that they make application to our Government for the necessary permission. ’ ’
