In the latest list of wppnded in action appears the names of Private Hira Hawkins, Mohaka, private Kingi Homa, Nnhaka, and Private Peter Te Taito, Ruatahqna. In connection' with the death in action of Corporal W. C. Sturm. Mrs, Sturm has received letters of condolence from the officers of the battalion, including Lieut,Colonel Jas. H. Sutherland, M.C., Major G. M, Stacc, and Lieutenant A- RobinFon. All referred in glowing terms to the efficiency of "Buster” and stated that his death was learned of with deepest regret. Mr. and Mrs. H. Buckingham have returned to Wairoa from Wellington.—Gunner and Mrs. C. F. Pritchard' are vois(Ung Gisborne.—Mrs. I. Nieklin has returned to Gisborne after visiting Wairoa.
