LAST MONTH'S FIGURES

With the exception of one station, the rainfall reports for last month from the East Const and Motu show a decrease compared with the rain for the corresponding period of last year. The reports also indicate that last month was the driest on the Coast lor some time. The Matarau station, Matakaoa County, reported a total fall for last month of ,56in., in comparison with 4.10 in, reported at the corresponding time Inst year.
