SHORTAGE OF CLOTH

DOMINION STOCKS BRITISH SUPPLIES SOUGHT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 8. Sullivan, said that this followed the visit of a special representative to London to press for improved allocations of cloths. The previous quota, together with local production, was less than minimum needs. He hoped that additional allocations would meet requirements where there were shortages. These were particularly in men's overcoats, working trousers and babies and children’s wear.
