Council regarding the ,purchase of four acres of, land belonging to the estate of the late Mr. F. P. Muir, Mangapapa, for the purpose of establishing a public reserve in that area, which hitherto had no such amenity. The purchase money is to be paid from the council’s reserves fund, and a portion of the Michael Pasquen.e bequest is to be used for the establishment of children’s playing facilities, for which purpose the bequest Was made to the council.
