TRIBUTE BY MAYOR PUBLIC-SPIRITED : MAN “Gisborne has never had such a public spirited man as Mr. Miller, stated the Mayor, Mr. N, IT. He Was known to the older residents fbrthis strong and likeable personality.” Reference ;was also made to fne death of another former councillor, Mr j J C. Dunlop, a member of a pioneering family of the district. He was survived by members of his family who were among-honoured citizens ol the town. , The council expressed sympathy to the relatives of .both the late Messrs. Miller and Dunlop.
