Work in connection with the air raid shelter programme in Wellington has practically been suspended, the labour being required for operations of more national importance. The only work now being done is the concreting of damp sections of the air raid tunnel shelters. It had been found that the water seeped through the« ground and made some of the tunnel areas wet. t
