MICROPHONES STOLEN
Over • 150 . microphones have been stolen from streee telephone cabinets in Christchurch and suburbs, during the past 12 months, said Senior-Detec-tive Nuttall during the hearing ol cases in the Children’s Court., when two boys were charged with the thelt of telephone microphones. A laultrnan of . the Post and Telegraph Department, who gave- evidence in one cas.e,. . said...that ,26,, microphones had been stolen in six months.
