EMPIRE AIR CREWS

DOMINION GRADUATES MR. LANGSTONE ATTENDS (9.30 a.m.) OTTAWA. Aug. 16. A message from London, Ontario, says that the New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. F. Langstone, presided at ceremonies at No. 4 air observers’ school near Crumlin, at which the first New Zealanders were graduated as navigators under the commonwealth training plan. The graduates included SergeantPilot Harry Blinkthorn, who received his wings in New Zealand, but when posted there as an instructor declined and remustered as a member of an air crew for active service. Mr. Langstone urged the navigators to make good use of their knowledge of battle.
