OUTPUT MAINTAINED INDUSTRY IN REAR (10 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 16. The Russian aircraft industry is producing more heavily than last year, said M. Yakovlev, deputy People's Commissar for Industry, in a message on the occasion of Air Force Day. He added that aircraft factories had been transferred to the rear beyor the reach of enemy planes. Hundreds of thousands of skilled workmen had been transplanted and production had not ceased for a single day but was growing daily.
