“TAX TO THE LIMIT”
WAR FINANCING PLAN (9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 12. The executive committee of the National Association of Manufacturers approved a “tax to the limit war financing plan, calling for levies totalling £9,250,000,000 annually. The recommendations of nation-wide conferences of 3000 business leaders and war manufacturers will be presented to-morrow to the Senate Finance Committee.
