King's.—Sparkling with a brilliance and originality that makes it a notable addition to the season’s mystery offering, “The Falcon takeH over," produced by R.K.O. on a lavisti scale, has its opening at the King’s Theatre to-morrow. George Sanders, direct from his triumphs in "Sundown,” once more plays the title role of the Michael Arlen’s suave amateur detective, “The Falcon." Lynn Bari gives a magnificent performance as a go-getter newspaper woman. James Gleeson and Allen Jenkins are in the cast. Regent.—Three British refugee children play themselves in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s ‘Babes on Broadway,” opening to-morrow at the Regent Theatre. They take part in a scene with Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, where the English youngsters broadcast from New York to their parents in Great 3ritain. The three are Rene Austin. 12, from St. Nicholas at Wade, near Dover, md John and Kitty David, 11 and 8 respectively, from Devon by the Sea. “A Yank on the -Burma Road" ends to-night. Majestic.—Suspense and adventure in the South Seas are entertainingly served up in Universal’s shuddery action drama, “The Mad Doctor of Market Street,” which opens to-day. The associate feature. “Tillie the Toiler,” is the first of a new series of comedies starring Kay Harris as “Tillie.” The new serial commencing to-day is “Gang Busters,” starring Kent Taylor and Irene Hervey. An added attraction for the bargain matinee on Saturday will he the new serial, “Jungle Girl."
