Other means of transport having been denied them or made insufficiently convenient, many workers in the outer suburbs in Auckland have turned to the bicycle as the solution of their difficulty and dealers report that stocks are being rapidly depleted. Seldom is the price discussed at length arid it was stated that buyers were cheerfully paying £l6 for an ordinary roadster with standard fittings.
