Probably the only New Zealander who has risen to the command of an army corps in the Imperial Army is Lieutenant-General H. B. D. Willcox, C. 8., D. 5.0., M.C., who spent his.Vouth in Christchurch, leaving in 11H1 with a- colonial commiskion. He, is a brother of Mr. ,H. D- Willpojfi Timaru, and Mr. T. Willcox, Christchurch.
