King’s.—Against the stirring background of one of England’s furthest outposts in Africa a thrilling new experience in adventure is related in “Sundown,” which commences at the King’s Theatre to-morrow produced by the director of “Foreign Correspondent.” “Sundown” pays tribute to the small bands of men who guard the outposts of theh Empire. This is their timely story. The cast is headed by Gene Tierney, Bruce Cabot, George Sanders, Reginald Gardner, and Sir Cedric Hardwicke. Regent.—Heralded as one of the biggest comedy offerings in years, Universal’s "Keep 'Em Flying,” starring Abbott and Costello, with Martha Roye, Carol Bruce, William Gargan, and Dick Foran in featured support, will open at the Regent to-morrow. Produced on a lavish scale, the picture is given a background against Uncle Sam’s efforts to train annually an additional 50,000 officers for the Army Air Corps. Merging hilarity with romance, songs, and aviation L hri!ls, the film has a big cast. Majestic.—A bright, melodious and amusing programme is provided to-day with "Melody Lane,” a happy musical extravaganza starring the Merry Macs, Baby Sandy, Leon Errol, and Butch and Buddy. Action, melody and entertainers are blended in Gene Autry’s musical Western, "Rancho Grande,” which includes iu its cast Mary Lee, Smiley Burnette, June Storey and Pals of the Golden West.
